To write good headlines, you need to study good headlines – headlines that work.
Because the more you "see" it, the faster you can successfully start to capture attention.
To write compelling headlines, use this simple checklist:
• Be CLEAR, not Clever
• Specify the WHO
• Specify the WHAT
• Specify the WHY
• Twist The Knife
If you follow this checklist, you will write headlines your readers can't help but want to click on (seriously).
Not because you "tricked" them, but because you successfully spoke DIRECTLY to their wants, needs, hopes, dreams, and desires.
